When you first open up TOP PRODUCER 8i, you are welcomed with the TOP PRODUCER 8i "SETUP WIZARD" - This 'Wizard' will walk you through setting up your program for the first time.

Basic information:

Put your cursor (pointer) on top of an Menu item or icon (picture) - it immediately tells you what it is or what it does - Neat!

Now you know that whenever you put your cursor on top of an icon, you know immediately what it does for you! - Try it out and see! - it works!

That's the Icons - now across the top of the screen you see a set of menu items, starting on the left with "Home" and ending on the far right side with "LOGOUT". How to use these?
Simple - place your cursor on the menu name and it "drops down" to reveal a list of things you can select or do!
These are called "Drop-Down Menus". As you explore you will find that some menu items have a small arrow pointing to the right - this indicates additional 'sub-menus'.

The most important Menu to access initially is 'Setup', a drop down menu item.  This item brings you to the next most important sub-menu, 'Agent Setup', which is discussed in the next section.
