Agent Setup

Pretty Good, you made it here without too much difficulty!

AGENT SETUP
Agent Setup in TOP PRODUCER 8i 7i comprises several segments:
Agent Setup & agent information
Company Information:
International - Canadian or American:
System Defaults:
E-Mail Setup Passwords and Provider information:
Web Publish:

In Agent Info your name is already entered (from your Registration setup information)
Now continue entering information in each box (suggestion - use the TAB key to go from one data field to the next).

NOTE: when completing your Agent address, if you intend to use the Financial segment of TOP PRODUCER 8i, ensure that you type in the Country as CANADA - if you leave it blank, the program will not permit you to set the GST & PST percentages. By the way, Canada is spelled in full (Note: CA is NOT Canada - it is the short form for California).

When you get to Telephone Numbers, enter them in this format ONLY: 9999999999 and then hit the Tab Key to go to the next Telephone number - as soon as you leave this field, the number hyphenates itself automatically: 999-999-9999.

Don't forget to enter your e-mail and Web addresses in the format: Tony AT (replace the AT with the @ sign) Maxsolutions.ca and www.maxsolutions.ca

Using the setup Wizard, complete the Agent setup, Click on Agent pictures to install your personal photo and your Company Logo, then do the setup of your E-Mail, using your E-Mail Provider's setup data.

Now click on 'Preferences (under Setup):

Here you select 'General' and go through your choices, most of which are self-explanatory.
Ensure that you have a full Disclosure in the Disclosure box - this will show up on all e-mails, Presentations and Flyers/Feature Sheets.

In the same fashion, continue with 'Scheduler', 'E-Mail', 'Listings' & 'Unsubscribe' segments and complete the settings to your liking . .

All settings can be changed at a later date if so required.
