1) FIRST thing to be done is to install the CD-ROM Software which came with your Palm Device; follow the Setup instructions and when requested in the Setup process, attach the Palm Handheld device to your Computer USB port and to a 110v Power outlet. Then follow through with a Synch process which will confirm that you have SYNCH capability between your Computer and the Palm handheld device - if this is NOT done, then you cannot install TOP PRODUCER 7i for the PALM Handheld Device.

It is also highly recommended to go to the HELP Menu and Select User Guides and Download, Print & READ the Quick Guide for the Palm Handheld.

a) On your Computer, open TOP PRODUCER 7i -  Select SETUP, go down to APPLICATIONS Setup - Look for the "Top Producer 7i for Handhelds" and click on it.

b) This will open up the Handheld setup screen - on the LEFT side of the Screen, Click on the "Download Client Software" - You will be asked to RUN or SAVE it - SAVE to your Desktop and do NOT change the File Name - EXIT the TOP PRODUCER 7i program..

c) Make sure the TOP PRODUCER 7i program on your Computer is CLOSED.
Return to the Desktop and you will find an Icon called "pcsiinst.exe". This is the program you just Downloaded - Double Click on it to open and start - It will require you to SYNCH  TWO TIMES - The First SYNCH will install the Top Producer 7i program on your Palm - the Second SYNCH will move your Data to the Palm

d) Once this process is complete - time to do so will vary, depends on the number of contacts in your Database - you will need to re-start the Palm - once done you will see the TP 7i Icon on your Palm Screen - Installation is now Complete!

2) TO LOG ON to TOP PRODUCER 7i for Palm Handheld

a) From the Application picker on your handheld device, tap the TP7i icon to start

b) The logon Screen displays the TOP PRODUCER Username - depending how you set up your program it may also require your TOP PRODUCER 7i Password - it will then OPEN to a List of your names - (A-Z List)
